Data Export

Once you have refined your query with the criteria you need for your analysis, you can export the data.

  1. Click the Select Data for Export button in the results box. This will produce a tree showing the underlying data.

  2. Click the small triangle to expand the tree with the underlying data. This shows you a full listing of the available variables and data. Only the available concepts/variables that match the query search criteria for each variable will be available. Note that this might take some time to load.

  3. Select the data folders that you are interested in. You have the ability to keep or remove variables by expanding the tree.

  4. After refining the variables, click the Export Data button.

  5. You will have the option to download your data as a CSV file.

Additionally, the system will associate a dataset ID with the query specifications you just created. This can be used to export your data using the API.

You can also choose to label and save the dataset ID for future reference. To view the list of previously saved dataset IDs, please see the User Profile tab in PIC-SURE.

For more information, please see Data Analysis Using the PIC-SURE API section.
