General layout of PIC-SURE search.

1. Search bar: Enter a phenotypic variable, study, or table keyword into the search bar to search across studies. Users can also search specific variables by accession number if known (phs/pht/phv).

2. Faceted Search: Users can filter the results to include different criteria, such as limiting studies of interest, selecting a data type, or associated data sources such as biosamples or imaging data.

3. Search Results table: View all variables associated with your search term and/or selected facets.

4. Results Panel: This panel has content boxes that describe the cohort based on the variable filters applied to the query. This includes the total number of participants in the filtered cohort who meet the query criteria, applied filters, and any additional exploration tools to learn about the cohort.

5. Filter action: Click on the filter icon to filter cohort participants by specific variable values.
