The Variant Explorer tool, displayed after adding a genomic filter, allows you to view the metadata of variants included in your cohort. There are two main views available: aggregate and individual.

Aggregate View

The aggregate view of the Variant Explorer is displayed by default. This shows the number of participants who possess the variant within your selected cohort. You can see the columns "Patients With This Variant In Subset" and "Patients With This Variant NOT In Subset" on the right-hand side of the table.

This view can be enabled by checking the box next to "Aggregate data" towards the top right corner of the table.

Individual View

The individual view of the Variant Explorer can be enabled by unchecking the box next to "Aggregate data" towards the top right corner of the table. This view shows the individual participants and their genotypes for a given variant. This individual data is shown in the rightmost columns of the table.
